We can live somewhere pretty! Or not.

Today I read a newspaper article that had me so excited I fired the article off to Lee and then breathed a sigh of contentment; I had found the puzzle piece that would fund the housing portion of our future ministies. (AND I wouldn't have to live in Uglyville, USA)

The article describes a way couples living on modest to $150,000 can receive mortage subsidies in places like Jackson, Wyoming and Telluride, Colorado.

When I got home and prepared to jump up and down together, however, Lee burst my bubble, saying, "You do realize that's almost always for public employees, right?"

D'oh.

Maybe it'll work for one of you. :-)

The Day After Thanksgiving

Yesterday, after much saving, we purchased the Digital Rebel XTi!!! I reassured Lee when he felt nervous in the store, and he reassured me when I felt nauseous afterwards.

Learning how to use this masterpiece is a thrill, especially as I documented one of Lee's favorite activities- decorating for Christmas.
